A concert “BACH: EASTER ORATORIO & MAGNIFICAT” will take place in Kyiv

On April 17 at 7:00 PM, the majestic Mykola Lysenko Column Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine will be the setting for a remarkable musical event — “BACH: EASTER ORATORIO & MAGNIFICAT”.

This extraordinary concert forms part of a collaborative project between Open Opera Ukraine and the National Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine.

The evening will feature Liatoshynskyi Capella, one of Ukraine’s premier chamber ensembles, led by the distinguished conductor Jörg Zwicker. The choir will be under the expert direction of Nataliia Khmilevska and Kostiantyn Lenchyk.

A stellar cast of soloists will bring Bach’s masterpieces to life, including Olesia Liuba and Olena Pinkovska (sopranos), Vladyslava Pryimachuk (mezzo-soprano), Roman Melish (countertenor), Denys Sahirov (tenor), and Roman Arabadzhi (bass-baritone).

The concert’s refined atmosphere will be further enhanced by the artistry of Tamara Roi on flute, with Nataliia Fomenko on harpsichord and Vladyslav Primakov on cello — ensuring an unforgettable interpretation of Bach’s profound and radiant works.
