On June 30 at 3:00 PM, the Assumption Cathedral of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Reserve will host the grand opening of the exhibition “Holy Trinity, Glory to You!”, marking the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council — the landmark event that affirmed the foundational Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity.

This unique exhibition invites visitors on a journey through centuries of theological reflection and artistic expression. From the symbolic visions of the Old Testament to the majestic Baroque imagery of the New Testament Trinity, the display unveils the rich and evolving iconography of one of Christianity’s most profound mysteries.
A focal point of the exhibition is Ukrainian sacred art of the 17th and 18th centuries — a period when depictions of the Trinity flourished in a distinct national style, blending deep spirituality with the vibrant aesthetics of the era.
Over 30 rare and precious artifacts will be on display, including Baroque icons, embroidered liturgical vestments, ecclesiastical metalwork, engravings, and other devotional relics — many of which will be exhibited to the public for the very first time.
Media accreditation is available via the provided link.
Venue: 9 Lavrska Street, Kyiv.
