Oleksandr Zadorozhniy – Professor, Doctor of Juridical Science, Head of the department of international law in the Institute of international relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
Participants will reveal the legal basis, which gives the right to believe that the annexation of the Crimea – is an international crime.
In particular, in Oleksandr Zadorozhniy’ monograph “The annexation of Crimea is an international crime” a theme of unlawful actions of Russia in the Crimea during 2014-2015 was deeply researched. This research presented a number of specific violations of international legal acts by Russia that are qualified as “international crime”. The monograph provides evidences of forcible annexation of the Crimea.
