On 14-16 November 2018, Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine and Hero of Ukraine, will meet with students in Ternopil.
On 14 November, the meeting takes place at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, room 178 (2 Kryvonosa St), at 2:20pm.
On 15 November, Mr Zhemchuhov meets with students of Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University in the assembly hall (1 Maidan Voli), at 3:30pm.
On 16 November, the meeting is held at Ternopil Professional College with Advanced Military and Physical Training in the assembly hall (48 Danyla Halytskoho St, Zbarazh), at 3:00pm.
The meeting will be in open microphone format, with anyone wishing to do so able to ask their questions. Also, “The Kremlin’s Prisoners”, a film produced by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, will be presented at the event.
At the end of the meeting, the participants will get discs with the film and other information materials.
Volodymyr Zhemchuhov has supported resistance to Russian aggression. Since May 2014, he has been organising and actively participating in the resistance movement against Russian occupation. From 29 September 2015 to 17 September 2016, he was held captive by militants of the so-called “LNR”, having blown himself up with a trap wire and been seriously injured. Mr Zhemchuhov has also taken an active part in state and volunteer initiatives in Ukraine and abroad, including military and patriotic lectures and discussions with pupils, cadets, and servicepeople.
