The book “Inside a Flame Circle. Defending Luhansk Airport” springs from the first attempts to collect and analyse evidence of eyewitnesses to one of the most heroic and tragic operations in the early Russia-Ukraine war, which is still little known of by most Ukrainians. Presented in the form of a documentary timeline, it describes events of the defence of Luhansk international airport and adjacent settlements in April — early September 2014, and events preceding the occupation of Luhansk (the winter of 2013 through the spring of 2014).
“Luhansk Outpost” is a film made by “For-Post”, an international production centre, by the order of the Ukrainian State Film Agency. It portrays a nearly four-month operation conducted by our troops defending Luhansk airport, though does not limit itself to the events around the airport.
