The Kyiv Camerata will perform a concert called “Echoes of Time” in Kyiv

On March 22 at 7:00 PM, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine will present the concert “Echoes of Time” by the National Ensemble of Soloists Kyiv Camerata, conducted by the renowned Keri-Lynn Wilson. Since May 2024, Wilson has served as the principal conductor of Kyiv Camerata and continues to strongly support Ukrainian musical culture.

The program will feature works by prominent Ukrainian composers from various generations. Audiences will hear the dramatic Concerto Triptych for Strings by Ivan Karabyts, Valentyn Bibik’s profound Concerto-Symphony for Violin, Viola, and Chamber Orchestra, and the haunting After Reading Lovecraft’s by Oleksandr Rodin.

The performance will include leading Ukrainian musicians such as violinist Bohdana Pivnenko, violist Kateryna Suprun, and double bassist Nazarii Stets, all showcasing their virtuosity.

The evening’s highlight will be the Ukrainian premiere of Dark with Excessive Bright by American composer Missy Mazzoli, a groundbreaking work that explores experimental textures and sounds. Viktoria Poleva’s Turn the River will offer the audience deep philosophical reflections.

The concert will conclude with Melody by Borys Liatoshynskyi, a piece that is a cornerstone of Ukraine’s classical musical heritage.
