The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy continues to document the damage to cultural heritage sites in Ukraine due to russian aggression. According to information provided by regional and Kyiv city military administrations, in June, the total number of affected cultural heritage sites increased by 5 and now stands at 1,085. Of these, 121 are of national importance, 884 of local importance, and 80 are newly discovered sites.

Additionally, there have been repeated strikes on already damaged cultural heritage sites in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The regional distribution is as follows:

  • Kharkiv region: 307
  • Kherson region: 150
  • Donetsk region: 125
  • Odesa region: 116
  • Chernihiv region: 70
  • Kyiv region and Kyiv city: 69
