Ukraine and the Czech Republic will expand their cooperation in the implementation of cultural projects

On September 20, Anastasia Bondar and Taras Shevchenko, Deputy Ministers of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, participated in an online meeting with their Czech counterparts led by Ondřej Hrast, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic.

The participants of the meeting discussed future avenues of cooperation and opportunities for expanding joint cultural projects. The main focus was on the preservation of cultural heritage, digitization, and mental health.

Ondřej Hrast expressed support for Ukraine and its culture. He noted that the Czech Republic is ready to expand cooperation in implementing joint projects in the fields of digitization and art therapy.

Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy expressed their gratitude to the Czech side for their assistance to Ukraine and support for Ukrainian culture. Cooperation in the mentioned areas is highly relevant, as the Ministry is also actively working in these directions.

The ways of future cooperation and coordinated steps will be discussed by the parties in the near future.
