Rostyslav Karandieiev expressed his gratitude to the Italian team of businessmen, artists, cultural institution managers, and politicians who have been providing strong support to Ukraine from the first days of the war. They have actively participated in documenting the destruction to cultural heritage sites in the city of Odesa and their restoration.

“The visits of foreign guests to Ukraine are extremely important. It is especially valuable when among them are artists, as they bring not only official information about the country but also their emotions back to their homeland. We hope that the information foreign partners gather through their photographs will help us to restore Ukraine’s destroyed heritage,” emphasized the Acting Minister.

Furthermore, he noted that Ukraine has numerous cultural objects, many of which have been damaged. Therefore, it is essential to consider not only the restoration or preservation of cultural heritage but also to enhance the tourist appeal of these sites.

“Therefore, the experience of Italian museums and cultural centers is valuable to us so that, after the war, foreigners would associate Ukraine not only as a country that endured the war but also as a nation rich in culture. Photography can be a wonderful way to embark on this journey into the world of Ukrainian culture,” stated Rostyslav Karandieiev.

In turn, Massimo Listri mentioned that after his visit to Kyiv, he will prepare an article about cultural exchange between the cities of Florence and Kyiv. The artist always photographs the interior, which allows him to convey the spirit and cultural heritage through his unique shots. Therefore, organizing exhibitions worldwide will provide an opportunity to showcase this uniqueness through the camera lens.
