International theater collaboration: Grzegorz Jarzyna and the Lesia Ukrainka Theater are preparing a joint project

Recently, the National Academic Drama Theater named after Lesia Ukrainka was visited by the renowned Polish director Grzegorz Jarzyna, a student of Krystian Lupa, known for his innovative craftsmanship.

He met with the theater’s artistic director, Kyrylo Kashlykov, to discuss the details of implementing the joint project and to get acquainted with the actors.

The Polish director also attended a performance of “Translations”, based on the play by Brian Friel.

The visit of Grzegorz Jarzyna, who has received acclaim on leading theater stages worldwide, including in Avignon, Edinburgh, London, and New York, was a significant event for the Ukrainian theater community.
