Mykola Tochytskyi and Alessandro Giuli discussed cooperation on the protection and preservation of Ukraine’s cultural heritage

On January 10, the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi had a phone call with the Minister of Culture of the Italian Republic Alessandro Giuli.  

The ministers emphasized the need for active cooperation to protect Ukraine’s cultural heritage, which is an integral part of Europe’s shared legacy.

Mykola Tochytskyi invited Alessandro Giuli to participate in the Ukraine Culture Conference “Collaboration for Resilience”. This event will focus on coordinating international efforts to support and strengthen Ukraine’s cultural sector, share expertise, and enhance cooperation between nations.

The parties also discussed preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2025). The Conference will take place in Rome in July 2025 and will focus on Ukraine’s resilience and recovery, particularly in the cultural sector.

Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further cooperation and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cultural collaboration.
