At the “Cooperation for Resilience” Conference, Mykola Tochytskyi, the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, met with Stefan Ressel, Deputy Director-General for Culture and Society at the German Foreign Ministry. Ukraine’s Minister expressed gratitude to the German delegation for their active participation in the Conference and for endorsing the adopted Declaration during the event.

He also noted the success of the joint exhibition “From Odesa to Berlin: European Painting of the 16th to 19th Century”, organized by the Odesa Museum of Western and Eastern Art and the Berlin Gemäldegalerie. This project, which is being carried out under the patronage of Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of Germany, and with the support of Claudia Roth, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media of Germany, State Minister, highlights the spirit of collaboration in cultural exchange.
Both sides acknowledged the importance of continuing similar projects to exhibit Ukrainian museum collections abroad. These initiatives will help preserve valuable artifacts from museums affected by the war and introduce unique Ukrainian collections to European audiences.
The discussion also highlighted the need for strong cooperation between Ukraine and Germany to counter russia’s strategies of international information manipulation.
Stefan Ressel highlighted the success of the Conference in Uzhhorod, pointing out the participation of many foreign delegations and its significance in enhancing cultural diplomacy and international partnerships.
