Mykola Tochytskyi held a working meeting with newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine, Masashi Nakagome

On November 25, Mykola Tochytskyi, the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, met with Masashi Nakagome, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine. The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and Japan in culture and strategic communications.

Particular focus was given to cultural exchange, organizing collaborative events, and developing arts programs.

Mykola Tochytskyi underscored the significance of deepening cultural ties between the two countries. He also expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Japan for their support in preserving Ukraine’s national cultural heritage, which remains under threat from russian aggression.

Masashi Nakagome reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting  joint projects in culture and media. He further emphasized the value of enhanced collaboration in strategic communications.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to advance bilateral cultural initiatives, paving the way for innovative forms of cooperation in the cultural domain.
