On June 9, Mykola Tochytskyi, the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, held a meeting with former Belgian MP Georges Dallemagne and Zenon Kowal, a former diplomat representing French-speaking Belgium.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Belgian partners for their ongoing support of Ukraine and emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory as a key part of strong European partnerships.
They discussed ways to strengthen Ukrainian-Belgian cooperation in culture and strategic communications. Topics included collaboration between the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II and the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces in Brussels, the completion of the Holodomor Genocide Museum in Kyiv, joint exhibitions, especially on wartime themes, and sanctions against russian individuals.
They also addressed cultural initiatives tied to the upcoming 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Belgium.
