Mykola Tochytskyi met with the Belgian Ambassador to Ukraine, Luk Jacobs

On November 25, Mykola Tochytskyi, the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, held a meeting with Luk Jacobs, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine. Georges Dallemagne, an honorary member of the Belgian Parliament, also attended the meeting.

The discussion focused on opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium in the fields of culture and strategic communications.

Mykola Tochytskyi expressed gratitude to Belgium for its support in Ukraine’s fight for territorial integrity and independence. He also thanked Belgium for its significant contribution to Ukraine’s European integration efforts, particularly during its Presidency of the EU Council.

At the same time, the Minister highlighted Georges Dalleman’s active role in Belgium’s recognition of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 as the genocide of the Ukrainian people in March 2023.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral initiatives and highlighted the continued development of the partnership between Ukraine and Belgium.
