Oleksandr Tkachenko held a meeting with the leadership of the European Broadcasting Union

The Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko, met with the President of the European Broadcasting Union, Delphine Ernotte Cunci, and the General Director, Noel Curran.

 During the meeting, the parties discussed, in particular, preparations for Eurovision 2023 and the role of public broadcasters in covering the war in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Tkachenko noted that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the EBU and public mass media outlets have stood side by side with the UA:PBC to ensure the ability to continue informing Ukrainians both at home and abroad.

 “The EBU provides important equipment, shares content, supports temporarily displaced Ukrainians and organizes fundraising events. Thank you for your constant support and steadfast position,” the Minister emphasized.
