On March 6, Andrii Nadzhos, Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine for European Integration, made a one-day official visit to Warsaw. He held several meetings aimed at strengthening international cooperation in culture and strategic communications.

Andrii Nadzhos met with Krzysztof Ruchniewicz, Director of the Pilecki Institute, to discuss the work of the Lemkin Center and explore opportunities for joint scientific and cultural projects. They also emphasized the importance of sharing accurate information about the russian-Ukrainian war and strengthening historical research cooperation.

Additionally, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister attended a signing ceremony for an agreement between the Embassy of Japan in Poland and the Catholic Intellectuals’ Club to support the Warsaw Ukrainian School. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the Government of Japan, Polish partners, and the school administration for their continued support in helping Ukrainian children abroad maintain their education, follow the Ukrainian curriculum, and stay connected to their homeland and culture.

Since its opening in 2022, the Warsaw Ukrainian School has been educating more than 200 Ukrainian children displaced by russia’s aggression. The signing of this agreement marks an important step in strengthening support for the Ukrainian educational community abroad.
