Rostyslav Karandieiev expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian diaspora, which is a significant resource for supporting our country worldwide. He also highlighted projects being implemented in collaboration with the Ukrainian diaspora, including the construction of the Holodomor Museum.

“Undoubtedly, the Holodomor led to massive human losses and suffering. However, at the same time, we can view these historical events as a demonstration of our resilience. It’s worth incorporating this narrative of resilience and survival into the history of a nation that, despite all challenges, has proven to be extraordinarily strong and enduring,” emphasized the Acting Minister.

In turn, representatives of the Ukrainian World Congress emphasized the current opportunities for collaboration in preserving Ukrainian culture by supporting the Ukrainian community in Brazil and Australia. They also pointed out that cultural diplomacy is key to ensuring that the world always remembers the Holodomor in Ukraine in 1932-1933.

The parties reaffirmed their intentions to continue cooperation and provide mutual support.
