On April 7, during his official visit to Poland, Mykola Tochytskyi, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, held a meeting with Hanna Wróblewska, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.

Mykola Tochytskyi congratulated Hanna Wróblewska on Poland’s successful hosting of the informal meeting of EU ministers of culture and thanked her for the invitation to speak at the event.
The two ministers discussed preparations for the Ukraine recovery Conference 2025 and Ukraine’s specific needs for cultural monument restoration.
They also explored opportunities for collaboration between the national film agencies and museum institutions of both countries.
A major focus of their conversation was the work of the Working Group on Historical Issues, created by the Ministries of Culture of Ukraine and Poland. This group aims to find mutually acceptable solutions that will allow both countries to conduct search and exhumation efforts on their territories, ensuring the proper honoring of their citizens’ memories.
