Two months of heroic confrontation of Ukrainians: Life will prevail

April 24, 2022 is a symbolic day for Ukrainians. On this day, Christians of the Eastern rite celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today is the date of two months of heroic confrontation ofthe Ukrainian people against the aggressor – the russian Federation.

During the war, Ukrainians fully demonstrate what the world of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ inspires. It is self-sacrifice, resilience and self-possession, endless love of neighbor. Without these virtues, we would not withstand the brutal challenges brought to Ukraine by the war launched by russia.

The destruction of the Ukrainian state and people is the goal of the kremlin. That is not the news for Ukrainians who know history. But this is something incomprehensible for the whole world. The civilized world was horrified and shocked to see the consequences of the “russian world” in Bucha, Borodyanka, Gostomel, Mariupol and, unfortunately, other cities and towns of Ukraine.

Easter is the triumph of truth over falsehood, life over death, hope over hopelessness. Hence, on April 24, the national marathon of the united news of Ukraine #UAtogether, coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, will be broadcasted under the bright slogan “Life will prevail” May the luminous joy of Easter bless Ukrainians on the path to hope and love.

Thanks to Ukrainians, the world has understood what true fortitude, resilience and courage look like. And Ukrainians know and believe that we will prevail!
