Following the negotiations, a number of important documents were signed, including those in the cultural sphere.

Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Rostyslav Karandieiev, and Deputy Minister of External Affairs of India, Tanmaya Lal, signed a Cultural Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Republic of India for 2024–2028.

The parties will continue to develop cultural exchanges and cooperation in the fields of theater, music, visual arts, literature, library and museum work, as well as the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The signing of the Program is expected to contribute to the further development and strengthening of friendly relations between the countries; deepen Ukrainian-Indian cultural cooperation; create a foundation for the exchange of experience in culture, arts, and cultural heritage; and ensure the comprehensive development and promotion of the cultures of both countries.

The Program comes into effect on the date of its signing and remains in force for four years or until a new Program is signed.

It is worth noting that the first meeting of the Ukraine-India working group on cultural cooperation took place on August 20.

Additionally, the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee was held in New Delhi from July 21 to 31.
