26 August, Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets, in the framework of the Forum Ukrainian Diaspora Youth “Odesa 2015” signed a memorandum of cooperation with the President of the World Congress of Ukrainian youth organizations Miroslav Hochak.
The purpose of signing – cooperation in the development of information society in Ukraine, spreading the information about Ukraine in the world and protection of the national information space.
President of WCUYO Miroslav Hochak after signing said: “World Congress of Ukrainian youth organizations aims to consolidate and coordinate the efforts with MIP by providing information about Ukraine in the global media space”.
Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets, in turn, said: “Support from all over the Diaspora inspired us to fight on the Maidan. So today we have to use this powerful resource to influence governments in the countries inhabited by ethnic Ukrainian. We are consolidating efforts to promote Ukraine in the world”.
Forum “Odessa 2015” (WCUYO) began on 18 August and will last until 28 August. Odesa gathered Ukrainian youth from around the world. WCUYO is also attended by representatives of 30 countries of the Ukrainian diaspora, including Ukrainian youth organizations from Kazakhstan, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Latvia, Moldova, Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain, France, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Japan and other countries.
