Today, 14 December 2016, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the members of the Government unanimously supported the roadmap for the development of the Crimean information reintegration strategy, developed by the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine.
According to the Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets, the issues of Crimea and the Crimean Tatars will continue to be a priority in the work of the Ministry until the de-occupation of the peninsula.
During the presentation of the document, the First Deputy Minister Emine Dzhaparova noted: “During the drafting of the document, we realized that the interest to it is extremely high. Therefore, it is important for us to involve more experts and public figures in the process of discussion and development of the document. This is our common task – not to allow to forget about the Crimea”.
Recall that experts of the Ministry of information policy, the Ministry of the temporarily occupied territories and IDPs, the National Institute for strategic studies, the office of the National Security and Defense Council, the Ukrainian center for independent political research, the public, and the like are involved in the strategy development.
Recall, the document is developed according to the UN General Assembly Resolution on support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine № 68/262, the article 1 of the Action Plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the subparagraph 4 of article 3 of the Strategy for Sustainable Development “Ukraine – 2020” and the Presidential Decree 1.12.2016 No. 534/2016 “On priority measures for the promotion of national unity and consolidation of Ukrainian society, support of public initiatives in this area”.
