SPOKESMAN OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION POLICY
The Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets visited Chernivtsi oblast during his working visit on the 6th of February. During his visit to Chernivtsi, Yurii Stets together with the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Vitalii Kovalchuk introduced the newly appointed head of Chernivtsi Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Fyshchuk.
“As a member of the team in power, I am responsible for what is happening in the country. I am well aware that the government, which is people, pay no attention to political symbolism and quickly responds to the deeds of officials at all levels, awaiting us to serve the common political force, the name of which is Ukraine”, stressed Yurii Stets.
To clarify the policy of the Government in terms of reforms in the country, an operational meeting was held featuring the newly appointed head of the oblast state administration and managers of territorial divisions of the central executive power. During the meeting the Minister introduced the officials to the Government’s action plan for 2015, which aims to implement the provisions of the Coalition Agreement and the Strategy for Sustainable Development “Ukraine-2020”.
During his visit the Minister of Information Policy met with the heads of regional media and held a closing press conference, during which Yurii Stets together with the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Vitalii Kovalchuk and the head of Chernivtsi Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Fyshchuk answered the questions of Bukovynian media representatives.
