About MCSC

The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine (MCSC) is the central executive authority which activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications is the principal body within the system of central executive authorities responsible for shaping and implementing state policies in the fields of culture, state language policy, promoting Ukraine worldwide, state foreign-language broadcasting, information sovereignty of Ukraine (in terms of managing the integral property complex of the Ukrainian National Information Agency “Ukrinform”), information security, as well as for shaping and implementing state policies in the areas of restoring and preserving national memory, arts, cultural heritage protection, museum affairs, export, import, and return of cultural values.

The MCSC is the principal body within the system of central executive authorities responsible for shaping and implementing state policies in the field of media, information, and publishing.
