The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine is launching a new project, the United Platform of Culture and Media during the war. It brings together initiatives and funds implemented by the MCIP since the beginning of the large-scale russian invasion.
Now more than 20 projects have been already launched together with partners, volunteers and specialists from various fields. Their goal is to draw the world’s attention to the war in Ukraine and consolidate the international community in resistance of russian aggression.
At present, evidences of russia’s war crimes, up-to-date information on the destruction of cultural heritage, unique photos and videos, useful resources for learning the Ukrainian language, projects on countering against disinformation, war poetry and many other initiatives are available on site: https://united.mkip.gov.ua/.
“History repeats, and today putin’s missiles are consciously wiping out Ukrainian museums and architectural monuments, and russian propagandists are removing everything related to Ukraine’s unique history and culture from textbooks. To support our culture in information sphere, to help people abroad, and to know more about real actions of russia is one of the goals of the Ministry today,” said Oleksand Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
